2025 Wisconsin KidWind Challenge offers students hands-on design experience

Brandon Davis, lead developer at Whitetail Wind, represented Invenergy at the 2025 Wisconsin KidWind Challenge in Madison, Wisconsin. KidWind is a hands-on design celebration that engages 3rd-12th grade students across the state to design and build small-scale wind turbines and solar structures and present in front of expert judges.

At KidWind, Invenergy provided hands on activities for students and attendees to take part in, such as building bracelets using solar beads that transform colors using the power of the sun and “build your own turbine” cutouts.

Invenergy is proud to take part in the challenge in Wisconsin, where several schools in project development areas were represented. As a corporate sponsor of KidWind, Invenergy continually supports educational initiatives where students can get involved in the world of STEM and the growing field of renewable energy.
